How often are fuel prices updated?
Prices are updated multiple times per day. For countries like the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany, prices come directly from official sources and are near real-time. For other countries, data is refreshed at least twice daily.
Which countries are supported?
We currently cover 21 European countries: Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, France, Spain, Portugal, Denmark, Austria, Italy, Switzerland, Czech Republic, Poland, Andorra, Hungary, Slovenia, Croatia, Slovakia, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Lithuania, Latvia, and Romania. This makes us one of the only fuel price comparison apps covering almost all of Europe.

Fuel prices vary due to competition, location (highway vs city), brand premium, and tax differences near borders. Prices can differ by 10-30 cents per liter even within the same city. That's why comparing pays off.
What is the savings calculator?
Our savings calculator (available at goedkooptanken.app/bespaarcalculator) helps you calculate if driving to a cheaper station is worth it. It factors in your car's fuel consumption, tank size, and the extra distance to determine your net savings. A tip: setting your search radius to 4km usually offers the best savings-to-distance ratio.
